Policies

Proofing Time

Please allow up to 2 weeks for your images to be ready from a portrait shoot.

Please allow up to 4 weeks for images to be ready from a photo shoot.

Please allow up to 8 weeks for images to be ready from a wedding or event.

NOTE: Under certain circumstances if you require your photos be finished and returned to you immediately I will try my very best to accommodate you.

Payment Policies

Payment must be received on the day of your photo shoot. We accept cash, money order, paypal, certified check or business check.

Cancellation and Appointment Policies

If you have an appointment booked with Vertigo Productions all clients must be in contact with the studio to verify appointment no less than 3 days prior to their appointment. Vertigo Productions will not be held liable for any missed appointments if this contact has not been made. You must give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment. If 24 hours notice is not given you must pay a $20 nonrefundable retainer at time of re-booking. This retainer is in addition to your quoted service price, and will not be deducted from total costs of your shoot.

Copyright Policies

No image by Vertigo Productions may be modified or altered in any way accept by the photographers of Vertigo Productions unless specific written permission has been given. Any image on CD's given to you by the photographers of Vertigo Productions may be printed at any venue. Only retouched images may be published online. Any image published online must give credit to Vertigo Productions. Unless specific written permission is given, no one other than the photographers of Vertigo Productions may use any image for commercial purposes.

Wedding Policies

Deposit: A 50% Deposit is required to book Vertigo Productions as your wedding photographer. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding date.

Meal: If you book Vertigo Productions for the 5 hour package I will need to take a break so please include a meal for me. No one likes to be photographed while they are eating anyway right? We wouldn't want to make your guests feel uncomfortable.

Contract: You will be given a contract outlining details of your wedding as well as obligations of client and photographer.

Referral Program

If you recommend us to a friend and your friend spends.....

$100+ in services at their first appointment, you get a $10 gift certificate.
$150+ in services at their first appointment, you get a $15 gift certificate.
$250+ in services at their first appointment, you get a $25 gift certificate.
$500+ in services at their first appointment, you get a $50 gift certificate.

You will receive your gift certificate after your friend's shoot.
The discount you receive may not be combined with any other discount.
Gift certificates may be combined.
Offer not valid on weddings or events.

Photographing Subjects Under 18.

-Release forms for minors must be signed by a parent or guardian. Release forms will only be mandatory if the subjects images are to be used for Vertigo Productions' Portfolio.

-You must be 18 years of age with valid ID to participate in any shoot containing nudity, implied nudity, lingerie, or swimsuit. No exceptions.

-You must be 18 years of age with valid ID to participate in any shoot depicting violence. Parental or guardian permission must be given by means of release form if any participant is under 18.

Casting Calls / TFC Portfolio work

All casting calls are on a TFC basis. This means "Time for CD". The photographer provides the model with a photo shoot and a CD with the images while the model allows the photographer to use the images for promotional purposes. No money is exchanged. If you are used for a casting call your images will appear online and in print. You will be asked to sign a model release form. Do not ask Vertigo Productions for TFC shoots as any and all requests will be denied. If you are interested in a TFC shoot please check casting calls regularly for auditions or email your resume and portfolio to studio@vertigoproductions.org.

Release Form

We will ask you permission to use your images for promotional purposes, digital and in print. Digital images will appear on our web sites and printed images may be displayed in our studio or in art galleries. Signing a release form is great help for our studio as using your images enhances our portfolios. Your images will not be sold. You will be asked to sign a release form but please do not feel obligated to sign one.
